Brief Bio:

Dr. Beise's previous experience includes work in industry as a consultant, systems analyst, and programmer for a large computer vendor, a telecommunications company, and a systems consulting firm.  She holds a PhD from the College of Business at Georgia State University and an MS in Information and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  She has previously taught at Florida Gulf Coast University, Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, and the Atlanta University Center.  Her current research interests include project management of dispersed IT project teams, and on-line learning.  She has published in MIS Quarterly, Communications of AIS, the Journal of Computer Information Systems, and other outlets, and is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). Dr. Beise is a former Board Member of the Teradata University Network and currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Information Systems Education.
