Image Printer (version 1.0.1)

The Image Printer program will take an image and allow the user to specify the actual dimensions of the printed image and the dimensions of the print area as well as the amount of overlap between the segments of the printed images. The program will automatically partition the original image and print out the image segments.

	Windows Instructions... Download the ImagePrinterSetup.exe install program using the link above this instruction box. If the Java JRE is not installed on your computer download and install the current version of the Java JRE (1.6.0 or later). You can get the most current version at the Oracle Web Site or download version 1.6.0 update 4 at jre-6u4-windows-i586-p.exe. Run the ImagePrinterSetup.exe program and follow the instructions on the screen. This will place links to the Cryptography Tools program in your Start menu.
	Linux Instructions... Download the ImagePrinter_Mac_Linux.zip file using the link above this instruction box. If the Java JRE is not installed on your computer download and install the current version of the Java JRE (1.6.0 or later). You can get the current version of the Java JRE at the Oracle Web Site. Unzip the ImagePrinter_Mac_Linux.zip file. There should be two files, ImagePrinter.jar, which is the program and ProgramIcon.gif which is the program icon that can be used for the links you create. Create a shortcut to the program (ImagePrinter.jar) using a script similar to the one below, #!/bin/sh APPBASE="/home/don/bin/ImagePrinter" JAVABASE="/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_03/bin" "$JAVABASE/java" -Xmx512m -Djava.library.path="$APPBASE" -jar "$APPBASE/ImagePrinter.jar" with APPBASE="/home/don/bin/ImagePrinter" JAVABASE="/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_03/bin" replaced by the paths of the program and the Java bin directory on your computer. The 512 can be increased or decreased but must not exceed the RAM (in MB) of your system.
	Mac Instructions... Download the ImagePrinter_Mac_Linux.zip file using the link above this instruction box. Unzip the ImagePrinter_Mac_Linux.zip file. There should be two files, ImagePrinter.jar, which is the program and ProgramIcon.gif which is the program icon that can be used for the links you create. Create a shortcut to the ImagePrinter.jar file.
