Step 1 - Prepare for your appointment:
-
Log onto
GULLNET to
view your Degree Progress Report (aka Academic Requirements Report).
(Home-Self Service-Student Center-Degree Progress Report from drop-down
menu)
Review this report,
which is your degree audit that checks all of your completed and in-progress
graduation requirements. Use this to help you determine the classes you
need for next semester. Find, or print and complete, the appropriate checklist for
your major: (Pre-Professional,
Information Systems major,
Information Systems minor)
-
Use
Gullnet to select potential classes that you
wish to register for next semester.
(Home-Self Service-Student Center-Search for Classes)
Identify which courses
you could/should take next semester, including alternatives in case you can't
get into the ones you want. Use the
SU catalog to make
sure you have taken the pre-requisites for the courses you want.
-
Complete your on-line
program planning form
prior to our meeting
- a copy will be e-mailed to you and to me. This
is very important as I am unable to meet with you until you submit this
form (when you submit the form a copy is sent by email to you and me).
-
Also, for your
knowledge, the courses you choose on this form are collected in an Excel
spreadsheet so we know how many seats are needed for each class. Without
this valuable information we are unable to plan correctly for next
semester's classes. Don't forget to include two alternative classes. The form may be
found on this site:
https://secureweb.salisbury.edu/perdueadvising/programplanning.asp
Step 2 - Sign up
for an appointment (at least 24 hours before your desired appointment).
-
If you are a Pre-Professional business student
(a freshman or sophomore and not yet admitted to the Perdue School), you should
sign up now on-line for a
Group
Scheduling Session at
:
http://www.salisbury.edu/perdueadvising/workshops/online_forms.asp.
(You do not need to make
an appointment with me, unless you wish to, after you have
attended a group session).
-
If you have been accepted into the Perdue School and have
earned credit hours of 56 or fewer, you may
sign up now for an appointment to
meet with me during the week of October 18-22.
This semester you can sign-up with the GullNet calendar-please check your
email for detailed instructions.
-
If you have been accepted into the Perdue School and have
earned credit hours of 57 or more, you may
sign up now for an appointment to
meet with me during the week of October 25-October 29. This
semester you can sign-up with the GullNet calendar-please check your email
for detailed instructions.
Note: Your Earned Credit
Hours do NOT include what you are taking this semester nor any
incompletes. You can find your Earned Credit Hours in
Gullnet.
