COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The primary aim of this course is to provide you with an understanding and the initial development of the skills of successful managers in organizations. This course is based on over 25 years of experience working with management development programs with consulting firms and some of the premier corporations in the world. Some specific objectives include:

 (1) Understanding the history and development of the field of study commonly referred to as managerial behavior.

 (2) Evaluating strengths and weaknesses of significant theories of managerial behavior.

(3) Understanding the effects of basic social psychological processes on individual and group behavior in organizations.

(4) Applying concepts and research in the field of organizational behavior to develop more effective managerial behavior

(5)   Applying concepts and research in the field of organizational behavior to develop more effective managerial behavior

(6)   Analyzing issues and techniques involved in implementing organizational change
