Overview of Theories For Understanding Human Behavior in Organizational Settings

Individuals spend more waking hours in organizational settings (e.g., companies, churches, governments,  & schools) than they spend in any other settings. Thus, people who understand what motivates their and others behavior in such settings are more likely to be successful. In addition, these same principles apply to non-work settings.
