Course Policies: 

1. There will be no make-up exams or acceptance of late assignments except under unusual circumstances.
2. If you should decide to drop any course or withdraw from school you must comply with the official procedure or receive a grade of E.
3. While there is no specific grade attached to absences, it is apparent that adequate or even superior effectiveness on periodic performance measures is associated with attendance.

Student Responsibilities:

You are responsible for learning the material in the course. Some helpful hints to facilitate that process are:

1. Study, do not merely read the material before coming to class;

2. Come to class;

3. Take your own notes;

4. Be inquisitive -- ask questions. Your constructive participation through questions is encouraged. In fact, if you are to maximize your learning you should actively participate in discussions.
