This course will cover the basic ideas and theories of microeconomics.
The foundations of microeconomic theory lie in the decisions of consumers and producers.  Topics such as demand and supply interaction, market failure, profit maximization, elasticity of demand, perfect competition, and monopoly power will be covered.  In addition, fields based on microeconomics such as environmental economics and public sector economics will be discussed.

Most course material will be provided to you through this web page.  You will need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader, if you do not already have it to receive copies of the homework answers and course syllabus.
