Attendance:

Since you are expected to learn from each other with class discussion, attendance and participation are therefore required.  Come prepared to discuss any aspect of the readings or cases.  If you cannot attend class, please let the instructor know in advance and appropriate make-up assignments may be assigned.

 Academic Integrity/Plagiarism:

Because of the University’s commitment to academic integrity, plagiarism or cheating on course work or on examinations will result in penalties that may include a grade of “F” for the specific exam or course work and a grade of “F” for the entire course.  Plagiarism is the unacknowledged use of other people’s ideas and words as outlined in the Salisbury University Student Handbook (see: http://www.salisbury.edu/students/handbook/) under the “Policy on Student Academic Integrity.” 

 Writing Across the Curriculum:

All writing assignments, both formal and informal, are in support of the University’s Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) program.  For more information on WAC, please refer to the WAC web site at: http://www.salisbury.edu/wac/.  At the University Writing Center at Herb’s Place in the Guerrieri University Center, trained consultants are ready to help you with the writing process.
