Modules
Introduction -
the purpose of the internship
is three fold: (1) to explore a particular type of job and its tasks to see if it
is of interest to you in the future (2) to apply some concepts learned in school
to a real world setting, and (3) to understand the adjustments necessary to make
the transition from being a student to being a valued employee.
To help you "learn" from this experience, during the course of your internship you are to maintain a daily journal of work assignments and activities and complete the six modules below each of which has its own specific assignment associated with it.
Maintain a log of
your Internship throughout the course of the work portion of your internship

Course Modules:
These modules are designed to help you reflect on various aspects of your
internship in a more systematic fashion. For each module, view the slide show and
accompanying information, if available. Based on that information and the
instructions on the assignment section of this course, review the assignment for
the module, collect any additional information from your organization and write
up your module assignment. All module assignments are to be included in your
final journal of your internship (see Journal section for additional
information).
